![]() The settings section of the app is concise and to the point. Xpotify has a Mini View, which turns the app into a pop-up player that stays on top of other windows. You can pin any page to the Start screen for quick access too. This is the browse section of Spotify, but with a faster way to access the options. In fact, it does have a dedicated Discovery section in the menu-bar, along with Featured content, Podcasts, Charts, Genres and Moods, and New releases. It had organized them better, and pushed the Editor's picks down the list, which I found it to be the better option for music discovery. Instead of Spotify throwing what it likes in your face, Xpotify gives your music choices the priority, i.e, the homepage had suggestions to the songs similar to those I had listened to on the mobile app. Spotify's side-bar has been moved to a menu-bar style placement in Xpotify, and replaced with better options. ![]() The side-bar has a few essential options, like your homepage, search, Library and your recently played list. ![]() Xpotify doesn't have a Friend activity panel, or a clunky side-bar with too many options. The primary differences are immediately noticeable.
